Gordon Biersch enters Fast Casual Segment with Grand Opening of Tavern Concept
Garlic Fries, Tacos, Sliders and Signature Handcrafted Beers Featured with Debut of Fast Casual Brand Extension
CHATTANOOGA, TENN. (September 29, 2010) – Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant Group will open its new fast casual concept, Gordon Biersch Tavern, on September 30th, 2010. Located at the Westfield Galleria in Roseville, just outside of Sacramento, CA, Gordon Biersch Tavern is the first of its kind and will carry a limited menu of signature items, including their award-winning, handcrafted beers.

We will continue with the same high quality, made-from-scratch menu and same level of service and hospitality in this concept.”
The new 1,400 square-foot restaurant seats approximately 60 people within the Tavern. The restaurant has also incorporated limited bar seating where patrons can join the Gordon Biersch Stein Club. Stein Club members have their own personal Gordon Biersch Stein glass to be stored and used at the Tavern. Members accrue points from their food and beverage purchases that can be cashed in for Gordon Biersch gift cards, merchandise or even fantasy vacations.
Gordon Biersch Tavern features specialized to-go packaging for convenience and is located near the mall’s northeast entrance, adjacent to the food court. Hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday from 11am-9pm.
Menu items include Gordon Biersch’s popular American-style Kobe Sliders, Mahi Mahi Fish Taco, and Signature Garlic Fries. Beverage options are Gordon Biersch handcrafted beers, including Golden Export, Hefeweizen, Czech Pilsner, Marzen and seasonal Festbier; along with wines by the glass and non-alcoholic options such as fresh squeezed lemonade and housemade root beer.
