Escape to the Caribbean with Big River Grille and Brewing Works Summer Promotion

Promotion to feature authentic culinary creations from Caribbean paired with traditional favorite Summer Wheat Beer

CHATTANOOGA, TENN. (June 4, 2009) - Big River Grille and Brewing Works is kicking off the summer with an exciting escape to the Caribbean. Featuring a variety of creative culinary creations from Executive Chef Bill Heckler, the promotion will run from the first week in June thru July 12th. Executive Chef Bill Heckler commented, "We had a lot of fun putting this menu together. We did a great amount of research into the rich heritage of the region where so many cultural influences from around the world combine for truly unique and bold flavors."

Appropriately featured with the menu is a seasonal Summer Wheat beer. The Summer Wheat is a light and refreshing ale that pairs particularly well with the flavorful foods of the Caribbean. Other tropical specialty drinks that will be featured during the promotion include the Drunken Shark and the alcohol free Cool Berry Tea. The Drunken Shark mixes a variety of fruit juices and liquors including Cruzan Mango and Coconut rums.

Guests will be able to indulge in the flavors of the Caribbean with 12 fresh and exciting menu items. Starters include Coconut Shrimp, Jerk Chicken Sliders and Shrimp Fritters. Lighter entrées include the Lobster and Shrimp Salad, Blackened Mahi Mahi, Cajun Shrimp Tacos, and Key West Lobster and Shrimp Linguini. Heartier items include Churrasco Steak, Churrasco Steak and Shrimp, Jamaican Kobe Burger and Caicos Coconut Chicken. Rounding out the menu is the Montego Bay Banana Split.

In addition, guests can enter the "Passport to the Caribbean" sweepstakes, where one lucky guest will win a Caribbean Cruise for two!!
