Raises Over $60K For Chattanooga's Kids on the Block!

Big River Grille and Brewing Works in Chattanooga, TN recently sponsored the 13th Annual Southern Brewers Festival, to raise funds for the United Way Agency, Chattanooga's Kids on the Block. The brewfest consisted of twenty-one micro breweries from across the Southeast and welcomed over 8,000 patrons for a day of fun, festivities, food, and of course beer! The event featured over thirty premium ales and lagers and live music. In total, the event raised almost $61,000 solely benefiting United Way Agency, Chattanooga's Kids on the Block (CKOB). Over the past two years, Big River has partnered with CKOB to raise a total of $135,841. In a Sponsor Recognition Party, Kelly Wilson, Senior Brand Manager for Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant Group, Inc. and David Sharpe, Regional Brewer, presented the check to Chattanooga's Kids on the Block. The brewfest is the largest fund-raising event for CKOB! Great job Chattanooga!
