Patriotism is Alive at Gordon Biersch

GB-Myrtle Beach hosted “Military Appreciation Days” in the park by their restaurant over Memorial Day Weekend.
“Our restaurant and the whole shopping district are situated on an old Air Force base,” said General Manager Helen DeGennaro.
“We donated 10% of our food sales Friday and Saturday night to The Honor Flight of South Carolina and it turned out great for both of us!”
The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. They transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior
Veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill. A total of $1,278 was donated to the honorable cause. Great job, Myrtle Beach!
