Annapolis, Kansas City, D.C., Tysons Corner, Virginia Beach and Rockville combined to contribute $7,811 to the zIMS Foundation. Founded by Ryan Zimmerman, 3rd baseman for the Washington Nationals, zIMS is dedicated to the treatment and ultimate cure of MS.
Boca Park donated $1 from every Maibock sold at the tapping party to the New Vista Community, a local charity committed to providing the intellectually challenged of all ages with equal opportunities and support so they may experience life to the fullest. The donation totaled $600!
Buckhead contributed $600 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society after collecting $1 from every Maibock sold at the tapping party.
Burbank donated partial proceeds from each Maibock sold at their tapping party to The Sunshine Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients.
Columbus donated a total of $600 to Operation Feed. The organization helps ensure that no one in Mid-Ohio community has to face hunger. GB Columbus held a silent auction and raffle to provide their generous donation.
Denver raised $2,000 for Relay for Life, the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, during the Maibock promotion.
Glendale held a silent auction and a raffle to benefit the Shelterbox Foundation Haitian Relief. The organization responds instantly to natural and manmade disasters by delivering boxes of aid to those who are most in need. Each box supplies an extended family of up to 10 people with a tent and essential equipment to use while they are displaced or homeless. GB Glendale raised a total of $6,000 for the excellent cause!
Miami raised money from the sales made at the Maibock tapping party and donated $500.00 to the Miami-Dade School System.
Midtown donated a portion of the proceeds from their tapping party to Atlanta Streets Alive. The donation of $558 helped support the organization that closes city streets to car traffic to allow people to participate in free health and communityoriented events.
Myrtle Beach raised $600 at their tapping party and partnered with CoastalUncorked.com. Funds were then donated to the Horry Georgetown Technical College Culinary School and the Clay Brittain Hospitality Program at Coastal Carolina University.
Park Lane donated the proceeds from their Maibock tapping party to the YMCA of Metro Dallas. They collected $1,495!
Plano donated $1 from each Maibock sold during the tapping party to My Possibilities, a non-profit charitable organization for adults with disabilities Plano provided the organization with gift cards, food for an upcoming event and $466!
San Francisco accepted donations during their tapping party for Rocket Dog Rescue which is an all volunteer based non-profi t that serves the greater Bay Area. The organization is dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned dogs from overcrowded animal shelters.
San Diego donated the proceeds from the Maibock tasters to the San Diego Rescue Mission, a nonprofi t homeless shelter and recovery center serving thousands of homeless, hungry and poor men, women and children in San Diego since 1955. Their donation amounted to $364!
San Tan lent a hand to the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation. They donated 5% of the proceeds during the tapping party which was $300 and then their generous guests were asked to directly donate to AFFCF. In addition, patrons could purchase raffl e tickets for prizes given away during the night. Their total donation ended up at $925!
